E-mail Verification

We are now employing e-mail verification to deter multiple accounts from causing trouble. Currently there are no active restrictions, but in future, you will need to verify your e-mail address in order to:

· Send PMs
· Post on the forums
· Post score comments

You can however still submit scores and get titles if you are an unverified member, though inactive unverified members may face deletion.

Do not despair though! Just because you're verifying your real e-mail address with us doesn't mean you have to receive a single message from us! Use Site Options in My Controls to disable the receipt of newsletters and PM notifications if you wish to.

It also follows that the use of temporary e-mail accounts to bypass true verification merits immediate deletion of your account. Beware!

Can you add 'Check your spam/junk folder in your inbox' to the news because when i checked there, i had about 8 emails not knowing the email goes there.

The verification code is usually sent to junk mail and some members will not find it

Unverified members are able to change their email to a working one and then they can verify it on the site.

Should be able to if you used a real email and if not you can still change your email address to a working one to verify it permanently.

i've tried several times to verify my email but it gives me an smtp error... i've used my official email address (not my gmail one) to see if that helped but still i didn't receive any email. any ideas please...? thanks
